What about False Imprisonment? Isn’t that one of the intentional torts. 👀

False imprisonment is described in depth in earlier modules. And under negligence, not tort. Furthermore, false imprisonment is very difficult to prove unless the person being imprisoned has no means to escape, and the potential person imprisoning the plaintiff does not have reasonable cause for a citizens arrest. Reading law makes me shudder and wish I could trust an intimate partner for a hug.
