And for those who think I'm reaching by trying to tie together all these dates and numbers, take this line for example: "Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" "Meaning if he called Interscope he'd dissapear" "Swayze" is synonym for "Ghost" and "gone/disappear" "Ghost" was a 1990 movie with Patrick Swayze, who's character is murdered and is left to roam the earth as a powerless spirit. Killshot was released on the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's Death (September 14th, 2009) MGK refers to himself as the Ghost of the future.Patrick Swayze was in a movie called Ghost, but also died on September 14th (release date of Killshot). If I can clarify some of these insanely clever lines, he said rihanna said he left hickies on her neck bc mgk said he couldn't pull rihanna after trying and also the autograph for his daughter on her starter cap is a reference to stan because eminem wrote an autograph for Matthew who is stans little brother in the song stan. The reason why eminem references stan here is he's because mgk basically became stan in that stan was a fan but ended up hating eminem just like mgk was a fan but ended up hating him, this was also important because mgk called eminem a "stan" to him in his disstrack so this was a very clever way to rebut that statement. Also one call to interscope and you swayze is a bar because sway is part of interscope and he said he's swayze like patrick swayze in ghost which he's dead in the film. Playing dead that's the only time you hold still was also very good because he also meant holding a gun cause it sounds like "hold steel" but lawtwinz talked on that. Also eminem said he needed reading material for what kelly was eating in his diss and why then said "dictionary" because mgk said em is the best bc he has to stay in his house all day w a dictionary which isn't true so that's another rebuttal. Then of course he said mgks name is going next to ja and benzino who's careers ended pretty much cause em dissed them. Then he says this diss is nails in mgk's coffin which is also probably a reference to one of his old diss songs "nail in the coffin" aaaaand finally at the end he says "I'm just playing diddy you know I love you" just like in his song "kill you" where he says "I'm just playing ladies you know I love you" he used a similar line in white america. Kill shot and kill you sounds pretty familiar so he probably did it on purpose. Mgk's diss was layered but ems diss was WAYYY more layered and yes I did catch these lines all on my own js I don't think anyone else has released anything explaining these lines yet anyway. Of course there's other stuff but they're a bit more simple. This is truly a next level diss track and if you disagree then you don't have the mind for true lyricism because almost every single line is clever. I rest my case.

Not only did Em murder MGK, he sent a subliminal message to all these other haters and “mumble rap” fans, by purposely dialing it back to audio. He basically left the “diss track” as a true diss track, not music video with some cute theme or catchy hook. He did that on his actual album. He dialed this battle back to audio where it belongs, not some music video trying to be a song. He’s differentiating Hip Hop heads from just casual rap fans who don’t realize or even know or appreciate deep bars, patterns, lyricism and wordplay/ word-smithing... Em didn’t need his reply to be a fancy music video, because his bars and lines speak for themselves. He brought it back to real Hip Hop with a grimy simple beat with a repetitive piano sample, so that you concentrated on what he was saying, not the instrumental as a distraction to make it seem like the lyrics are better than they really are. He exposed MGK’s weaknesses and responded to his Music Video with a real audio diss that destroyed and broke down every criticism he had, like a surgeon, and it was done.

When people say rap devil was better, I think they are confusing lyricism with just sound. MGK put a “diss” out that sounded more song-like with stupid catches like “lets talk about it” and people are too stupid to think of anything else and that’s all they remember. Eminem focuses on lyrics and content and the sound wasn’t suppose to have you play it in your car going to the club, it’s a diss... but people just want sound these days that’s why new rappers can say anything over a good beat - gucci gang 100x, and think it’s good. That’s the main problem with the audience. MGK’s diss was about looks and age with a few name drops, but em was focusing on trying to diss him, not make a new hot single. YAAASSSSS! This shit is amazing. I think so many people are missing the Stan reference or only catching part of it. In the song Stan eminem is writing the letter back to Stan and says “here’s an autograph for your brother I wrote it on a starter cap” but when em was writing that letter to Stan he had already killed himself in the story. So that whole part is a play on that.
