ohhhh ! (from UK) once youve said it, it seems so obvious ! brilliant . I kinda know this somewhere, but did not apply this to my practice ! In my attempts to be professional I was torn between that and dehumanising myself ! but actually, that is totally wrong ! Im off to change my website straplines and start building my persona ! I am literally one of your examples having to compete in a particular area but I have developed some unique packing of planning services, about which i have become passionate. so that is likely to be my special point - passionate about the protecting and preparing for the future -- ooo, my creative side of all this has kicked off again ! thank you so much ! But I am very nervous about putting myself out there as a person ! Plus social media can be a great place for the "trolls" to be damaging. So, Ill think more on how to align - Estate Planning - everyone worries about their children, or parents care etc etc ......

it helps me as a young lawyer in Indonesia. I am 26 years old and i become a lawyer after i left my corporate job. Then i become a lawyer by creating my own lawfirm and started to create my social media persona and create videos about educating people but stil noone would come to hire me as their lawyer. Whats wrong?

Wow, great timing on this video. I just refocused my practice, and I’m only practicing in one niche area of law. I have been pretty passive about networking, and I have zero advertising (not even a website), and yet I’m getting referrals from attorneys that I’ve only met one time. I need to increase people’s awareness of me. I’m going to work on presenting myself as a human who happens to be a lawyer.

I have zero idea how this got in my KZbin feed. I am not a lawyer. I watched the whole thing though. For me personally, I would look for signs that indicate the lawyer may know the judge personally or other important people. I'm probably wrong, but after watching the Alex Murdaugh case in the news it seems knowing the key players is all that matters in law.
