I never thought I’d see true devastating negative change in societies that had what seemingly seemed like that of a strong backbone. It has seemingly been severed. DUIs have to be taken much more seriously when they get to court.

Wow, so even lawyers can have dirtbag kids. A drunk, a liar, an emotionally-immature mess ... at 27.

Her father was right. She never should of gotten out of the car. She would of better off being charged with obstruction an dealing with that. Never talk to cops, never deal with them. If you're pulled over, you're going to get arrested most likely so you're better off not giving them anything. She handed them evidence in an investigation.

Her dad should have taught her how to interact with the police. In the case of DUI, here is what defense lawyers say to do and her dad should have told her. 1. If you have any alcohol, even one drink, don't drive. 2. If you do mess up and get pulled over, be respectful and polite. Identify yourself but remember that you do have the right to be silent. Say only what you must. You do not have to say where you are coming from or how much you have to drink. Remaining silent is better than lying. Accept that you will be arrested. 3. If asked to step out of the vehicle you must step out. 4. Refuse the sobriety test, even if you have had nothing to drink. Many people can't pass this test even if sober. The test isn't only testing your balance and the test actually starts before the officer says, "Begin." It is very easy to fail this test and it is used against you. 4. If you have had nothing to drink, take the breathalyzer. If you had anything to drink at all, refuse the breathalyzer. Yes, your license will be suspended, but your lawyer will be able to help you more if you don't give the state any evidence against you. Your lawyer may also be able to help you get your driving privilege back.

I remember back in the day when you used to get pulled over you couldn't say a single thing out of line to a police officer otherwise when you get home your parents would read you the Riot Act I'm amazed at the way things have changed when people can say anything they want I commend the police officers for their professional attitude
