LAWYERS ALERT TB INTERVENTION

Lawyers Alert in partnership with Stop TB Partnership under the Challenge Facility for Civil Society is carrying out an intervention “Implementing the Nigeria TB Legal Assessment to Mobilize and Promote the use of the Law and Courts among Lawyers
and People Affected by TB (PATB).
This video explains what Lawyers Alert has been able to achieve so far on the project.
Some of the objectives of this project are to:
-STRENGTHEN skills and knowledge of rights and declaration of people affected by TB among lawyers and people affected TB, health care workers, towards removing legal barriers relating to accessibility, treatment adherence, and quality of TB services
- SHARE experiences of people affected by TB to better understand their challenges and needs.
- BUILD a coalition and facilitate a sustainable platform of exchange between lawyers, people affected by TB, and the media and the TB program to monitor and seek remedies as well as accountability for human rights violations.
