Sendo is instinct type boxer not the type who read his opponent like miyata and volg, even if he knew he was getting hit with a straight he wouldn't be able to adopt quickly enough and to be frank not telling probably was better cause maybe his body hasn't realised the full power behind those punches so he's pushing by will power so it may threw of him off game mentally and physically.

When I was training in Karate, one of my Dojo teammates, was trained to fight as a right-handed southpaw, and it was definitely a tough time getting used to that different stance, especially since I was always the smaller guy and I had to close distance. In Boxing, the right jab and the right hook from a southpaw, can be pretty deadly.

Not at all, all the ippo generation got their spotlight and climax to their stories starting with volg and currently with mashiba, but through all those arcs there were moments where ippo totally stole the spotlight yet somehow no one has noticed it despite the fact every member of his generation has thrown in in our face multiple times: makonochi ippo is turning to a beast

@@kaang.1659 bruh, did you stop reading after he retired or something? He never tried that test again ever since and if he did it will turn out he already recovered long ago. The reasons why he hasn't come back yet is two; first to give spot light to other characters to climax their stories in the best way possible without needing to worry about fans missing the mc fighting( even then we still get glimpse of his abilities in every single arc and it will put anime ippo in shame). The second reason is that ippo was a mindless beast to put it simply; he was just rushing in most his fights and even creating the dempcy didn't solve that problem but this is the purpose of his retirement, he has shown improvement in few chapters that he didn't do in 500 chapters through the whole anime so to tell me it's bad writing means you either didn't read or did with your eyes closed

Ippo vs Sendo 1 was cut short and both fighters felt it was unfinished. Ippo vs Sendo 2, you're right, it's a slugfest, they call it lollapalooza if I recall. This one is kind of the opposite of fight 1, it almost goes on too long, it's why I like the vorg fight more, it was perfect length. Still a great fight with a lot of twists and turns, it's Ippos scariest fight. Look forward to your reaction.

Anyone still following manga. I want to know whats currently going on there. I stopped reading during ippo spar with mashiba after getting irritated by terrible release schedule of manga

@@akshatsingha3193 SPOILER ALERT the match for the world title started, mashiba seems to have a good gasp of his opponent timing since ippo was relatively on the same level as southpaw, and he control most of the few rounds so far, but two chapters ago he was caught off guard with a nasty left hook counter that if it wasn't for ippo telling to stand up he may have lost and the champion took advantage and dominated for a while before he himself was caught with a chopping right and fall down as well but stood up shortly before the round was over. The chapter ends with the champion getting irritated and may do some fouls while it's unclear( at least to me) what mashiba is going to do about it
