the technique helium was doing was 'dragging***', it's basically just fast in and out breathing combos that he combined with other stuff at the same time. Inertia uses inward bass & a throat bass called 'vibration bass'

@@Josh_17 Yeah Inertias inward and vibration bass's are amazing but the perfection inside of heliums rounds were astounding, and his counter is arguably one of the best counters ever performed on the GBB stage. D-low the judge has a reaction video where he says he was voting for helium until the very last second of the judge countdown, the wow factor of inertia just barely won him over, but he says its one of the closest battles he's ever seen.

Explanation of how close it actually was: After the final round: D-Low wants to either an OT or vote for helium. But last second he raises his hand to King Inertia. Votes WOULD have been: 3-1 for Inertia, but Reeps One couldn’t figure his mind out and casted an OT vote, which was deemed illegal but he felt like both deserved the win. leaving the votes 2-1-1, and remember D-Low wanted to vote helium.

I know it's a little late, but when the judges cross their arms, it's a sign of the two competitors being dead even to the point where no winner can be decided from the battle. All the judges last year had the option of doing it and this year they were told to instead do it in extremely tight situations like cosmically rare situations. THE ONE AND ONLY REEPS ONE, one of the most respected figures in all of beatboxing (basically the founding father of sounds), is the judge that put up the x! That means that this battle was so incredibly close, arguably the best judge in all of sbx history decided that he could not judge who won this battle 😅Absolutely crazy
