That card should be framed. No words necessary. I had no idea what you were doing but I am in awe. It so beautiful.

Kristina, a tip for keeping gel pens from drying out. If you've noticed that the pens work great when you first get them, but some end up drying out quickly. It's because the pens come with that tiny piece of wax covering the tip; save that and put it back on the tip when you're finished. If you lose it, a tiny bit of polymer clay do the trick.

Thanks for the light touch tip with gel pens, especially the white pen. Have mostly been using gold only and sometimes silver because I could never get the white one to work.

Lovely card but WAY above this stamper's abilities....starting with making all those perfect squares! It was fun watching the process...

Same. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler! I'm getting out my square dies instead and raise one of those squares with foam pads. It is a lovely card though.

Hi Kristina! Wow, I loved this card so much, I just had to give it a go! I used different paints (Kuretake) as I don't have the the new ones you are using but the results were really good. I also used different stamps & card stock. There were a few "issues" along the way but I worked around them, ah the joy of card crafting! It truely was a lovely journey and I was really pleased with the end result. I Sent it to my neice for her birthday. I've learned a lot from you over the years over here in the UK, thank you so much for sharing your talent and giving me (& everyone else) such a wonderful gift. Xxxxx

Thank you for replying. Ok, I get it. I just thought there was some special trick I was missing. This old brain does that to me sometimes. Lol
@vickicervantes18175 жыл бұрын
I have found when I do that with stamping ink first than the white gel pen, it let's just a little glamour of the ink that's under the white gel pen come through almost like if it's a sheer curtain🥰❣. Some of the middle to dark colors of ink that's under the gel pen are really quite beautiful. I have loved art my whole life, because it's such an interesting and magical experience just waiting for the explosion of Beautiful art coming to life.🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❣ Like painting wet on wet that's like Christmas just waiting for it to dry😊❤❣

This is the most beautiful card! I took your Simply Watercolor class and with a few changes it could be made in that style. I am however trying to find an easier way to create the boxes, I would end up using a whole roll of tape.

I was wondering why you took the time to do the stamping when you painted over the top with white ink. Seems like it would have been easier to just draw the simple designs with the gelly roll pen. Other than that, it is a great design. Thanks for sharing.

Stunnig card.really nice and simple Just a question please. Would you be able to have the same affect as jelly roll impressions if you stamp with white pigmant ink?
@kwernerdesign5 жыл бұрын
The white ink won't be solid enough. (At least in my experience). Add white embossing powder to it, and it will be more solid.

Really pretty with the addition of gold, and shimmery too. Nice touch. i wish I had a gold paint like yours. That's what I'm missing - gold metallic paint. Or is that the pearlescent paint?
