Where does the shot come from, my girls are successful with moving the ball around but not so much on shot selection, please explain

shots or looks come in where the players have an advantage. Best look is pass to cutter fir the layup.. if that's not there, next option is to pass to wing. That player can use their momentum to get downhill for the layup. Whenever the defense has to back pedal the offense has an advantage.

It's a very common 5 out offense that works really well. Many will know it as the read and react offense.

I'm not sure I would suggest a cross court pass. You're risking alot by going cross like that.
