I watched it live, even if you are baiting arlott the pressure around them that time is so strong as well as layla moving while attacking when he flickered meaning Kelra's right thumb is not holding on flicker that time but spamming on the attack button. Watch 2 minutes before that dodge and you will see that it really is an impossible move. Even Superfrince(Zhuxin) flicker dived inside the base walls because he thought that Kelra was caught. Kelra also used flicker ONCE on that entire match, only on that crazy dodge.

Layla only works if you have a decent or great tank and mage that rotates and gives you vision. But if not, specially in the solo rank, and you have a assassin core on the enemy, its almost like won't work.

She's good when paired with a team that protects her. The reason we discourage using her most of the time is because we often have assassin roamers both as teammates and enemies. Notice that Layla's team had Zhuxin for zoning and 2 frontliners. With the popularity of assassin roamers, Layla should ideally be a conservative pick, not a priority.

Lyla's full potential is user dependent and team mate dependent as well.. shes a pain in the ass come mid to late game when she get her 3core items..she has both damage and range.. she lacks mobility, yes? Layla has never been that bad. I like to compare her to Brody: both have long ranges, easy to land stuns, and high burst. The difference is that Layla focuses a lot more on range, while Brody has better kill secure potential and a lot less vulnerability to dives Everyone just has PTSD from Epical Glory Layla instalockers.

New meta assassin roam is on the way ,new melific gun is broken whether it's tower damage from range or far basic ranged attacks as a tank player i already suffered badly in s31 s32 when the assassin meta made it back until they adjusted some items and hero i was able to play other roam heros ( tig and franco were only 2 tanks working for me at that time until i'got hylos) i think i might main hok formthe next couple of months

In fact, from the old 4 marksman of apocalypse (Layla, Miya, Lesley, Hanabi) i think the only one who can be still considered a troll pick might be Miya imo
