Love St. Vincent and the Grenadines,maybe because my wife was born there. All fun aside,beautiful country and people. I visited once around 2004,had a blast. We even took the Ferry to Bequia. Beautiful houses and charming winding roads. After COVID-19 I think I know where I’m going for vacation. You have a new subscriber here,keep them videos coming my friend.

Thank you so much for posting this thorough drive through of Layou! My wife (who is from Layou/Akers) and I just watched the entire thing. She hasn't been back in over 20 years and had a hard time recognizing some of the area(s) since it's been so long and the area is also so built up now. I myself have never been to SVG and so I had Google Earth running at the same time your video was playing and was able to match and identify most of the locations you drove through on the map. Now I feel like I know the place almost as well as a local. *Almost*. Haha 😅 I saw when you drove by Layou Miracle Church - my wife has a sister that attends church there and we often watch their live broadcast services here in the USA via the internet. It was nice to be able to see the actual location from the outside. Thanks again for posting this. We really enjoyed it, and looking forward to more. 👍

@@aekdautomotiveeyekand4671 Great videos, man. My wife & I are really enjoying all of your uploads. Sometimes I have a hard time hearing your voice when going through certain areas however (eg. background noise, noise from the vehicle itself, etc). Would love to hear a more clear narration from you as you drive through various locations so we can understand more about the exact location you are driving through at the moment. Sometimes noise from the outside or from your vehicle itself muffles your voice and makes it difficult to hear what you are saying. I have experienced this problem myself when making videos on my bike (wind noise, etc), and the solution I found was to get an external microphone that I can clip on my clothing and plugs directly into the camera (in my case a mobile phone camera). That way, the microphone is as close as possible to the audio source (my mouth). They are not very expensive at all and improved the quality of my audio a lot. Also, do you have a Facebook page or Instagram about your drives around SVG? Cheers
@aekdautomotiveeyekand46713 жыл бұрын
Yup. I actually already uploaded one vid (Greiggs to Calliaqua back roads only) and haven't made it public yet, because the mic picked up so much background noise on the bumpy road that it sounds like my jeep was falling apart😁. Tires were also over inflated. Definitely have to edit that one. Need an external mic with a longer cord.
@theadventurebiker3 жыл бұрын
@@aekdautomotiveeyekand4671 Sounds great. We are looking forward to seeing it. I just looked up Greiggs to Calliaqua on Google Earth just to have a reference and idea regarding where you are talking about LOL. Looks like an amazing drive (I just love mountain country roads!) I hope you can get the audio situation sorted out. Maybe you can mute the original audio and add some narration afterwards? What kind of camera are you recording with? Regardless of camera type, you should be able to get an external mic that can do the job quite well for very little. Cheers

My first trip to SVG in 2003, stayed at Pastor Clarke's church and fell in love with the island and people. The trip changed my life. Returned every year for 3-4 months for next 6 years, staying in Kingstown with daily trips to the beach in Villa, stayed n Buccament loving the swimming and fishing in the Bay before the days of the development of the tourist accommodation located there, and also stayed in Vermont a few of the years. Contracted Dingue Fever 🤒, which almost took me out. So have been unable to return. Thankyou for making these videos. I long to return...hopefully someday in not too distant future. Layou is absolutely one of the most beautiful and transformed towns in SVG.. I am amazed of the physical development, the magnificent houses. I just love the place. I had a girl friend there, in the late 80s and used to visit regularly. It was nothing like what it is today. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work God bless!!! Watching from NYC.

I partly enjoy your drive around videos of St. Vincent. However, the only thing that lets them down is your audio/commentaries are not clear - muffled and can't make out what you're saying most of the time. It seems most of the time you're mumbling and talking to yourself. It spoils the enjoyment.
