Layover in Taipei? Here's What We Did

Did you pack for an overnight separate bag just for the layover? Eva air did not release your check in.luggages?

Great question! I packed an overnight bag as a carry on because I was allowed one checked bag, one carry on bag and one personal item (my backpack). They did not release my checked bag…it was at the airport for the 23 hours and got loaded on the plane back to Los Angeles. My carry on was an overnight bag that contained my pajamas, toiletries and an extra change of clothes for the next day. I’m glad that I packed that overnight bag or else I would have been in the same clothes during my short time in Taipei!

Hi. When did you get your boarding pass for your comnecting flight- before you went out of the airport or upon your return to the airport after your city tour?

Great question! When I checked in for my return flight from Ho Chi Minh City to LA, they gave me both tickets. Think of it like when you have connecting flights and they give you both tickets for your trip. So I had my TPE->LAX ticket already with me when I left the airport for 23 hours.

Thanks for watching! Great question, so I looked into it as I’m sure many people are going to have the same question. According to the website, it runs between 0600-2400 or 6AM-12AM. I loved how efficient and clean the trains were.

how often are you traveling out of country?

It depends much time I get granted for vacation but I like to travel 2-4 times internationally. If I don’t get to travel internationally, I’ll try to take a trip domestically whether it be a road trip or across the country.
