Hi Neeb, got my North Stag Deux today and yes it smells almost exactly like Layton. It wears like Layton, so considering that this an extrait de parfum it won't project loud when you first spray it, but the quality is there, it's thick, opens up as you wear it and lasts long. Thanks for the suggestion, it's a banger :)

PDM Layton was my first from the house, and the love for PDM juat skyrocketed from there. My signature scent is Altahir, yes I wear it during summer in Florida!. I just love it. I started with Layton and slowly but strady Ive been getting their fragrances. I also own clones for each of the OGs I own, sometimes I rock them alternately due to the fact that for me, they have a twist on their core that makes them a "unique" scent within the same DNA. I have no issues with the OGs they perform AMAZING! . On a site notr, another great video from Neeb. Tha ks for bringing the clone wars back!!

Looks like Loyal Agar is in stock on Luxodor's website for 45 bucks. I agree that it's not the closest clone, but it doesn't smell cheap and it performs great. My vintage Layton only has like 20mls left so I wear LA more often.

😂South Africa gets the main stream niche fragrances and almost all the designer fragrances, as well as the designer private lines. We also get most of the Arabic scents you talk about. The indie niche is what we don’t get, like Maison Mataha, Giordini Toscana, Lorenzo Pazzaglia etc

In my opinion it's incredibly interesting how top tier brands with billions into marketing trying to fight with arabic clones. Think that we are going to witness somekind of a price/legal/marketing, basically market changes. So far so good the only instrument legal teams can use is the name (which has string simmilarities with the OG) and the bottle shape

Orientica xo is the same juice as Amber Oud exclusiv bleu. I believe Amber Oud is Alharamain (and no, I’m not getting confused with the blue edition which is also Alharamain. And Alharamain is the parent company of Orientica. Looks like they’ve tried pushing the same fragrance out under both companies.
