Rachael Leigh Cook! She is so undeniably cute and gorgeous! It was wild that just because she wore glasses, put her hair up in a pony tail and had paint on her dungarees she was some how supposed to be an utter repulsive swampy donkey!? I had a girl crush on her in the late 90's early 2000's... I thought she was just so lovely. I did like the original movie even if that was of course, predictable and cheesy. I also liked Not another teen movie where they heavily spoofed She's all that as well as other classic teen rom-com movies like The breakfast club. This new remake seems totally awful and not in a "so bad it's good" kind of a way.... But I am bound to think that way - I'm sure the people this movie is actually aimed at and made for will love it. It's funny Netflix got Rachael Leigh Cook to be the mum when she was originally the main girl in the original film - They did this with Wednesday too. They got Christina Ricci to be a teacher in the series when she was Wednesday (and arguably the most well known/iconic Wednesday) in the films from the 90's.

I think the issue was the girl to her right was shorter - If she had been taller the camera could have been positioned higher so the other girls hand would have been out of shot - but as the blonde girl was shorter than the brunette girl the camera angle would have looked strange if it was higher or tilted up and she was low down or barely in shot lol! But all they would have had to do was make her a platform to walk on that would be out of sight to make her the same height or give her heels!? And then it wouldn't have been a problem!! 🤣
