to everyone commenting about bill looking at cube before inspection: Yes, clearly bill is not properly following scramble checking regulations (in part because of his bad cube cover). I and the judging staff did not realize, however, that he was literally inspecting the cube during scramble checking on a couple solves (the angle we see is much less revealing). Steps will be taken to prevent this in the future. However, it must be said that competitors are allowed to look at the scramble preview on the computer and watch the other competitor during their inspection and solve. Although Bill's "cheating" is unacceptable behavior, it is not nearly as bad of an infraction as many might think.

For anyone else that don’t know, I think the person starting second also has the advantage of seeing what color the other competitor will choose so they’ll have an idea of which color is good to start off with. (Only for both color neutral solvers)

Bill shows that you don't have to have a crazy tps to be fast. You just need to know a lot of algs and learn to be consistant all the way through. He has the same tps as me but I only get a 25 seconds average proving that the more you know the faster you will be.
