Incredible! I was looking for this days ago! Thanks so much! I was wondering if you had Alexander's First Phase or The Extreme extended as well?

I feel like this boss fight was problematic for really cementing the suspicion that Hydaelyn was a villain.
@Hawkenwhacker Жыл бұрын
On an emotional level, it's understandable. Logically, this argument and countless others makes no sense.

I don't get it. in what way does this suggest that Hydaelyn is evil?

You know how when we fight Zodiark, the husk of a primal has had its heart replaced by Fandaniel, turning Zodiark from a dark savior into a cackling villain? Maybe Eden Shiva is meant to represent what the primal Hydaelyn would be like if she didn't have a heart as steadfast as Venat.

interesting that Shiva is associated with the Light here.

Both. Y'sayle was also close to Light, but Ryne's relationship with Light is much, much stronger. A clash between two elements ends up driving her kind of mad. It takes Gaia to knock her out of it.
@tk30672 жыл бұрын
@@cobbil it wasn’t a clash, light and ice amplify each other and the combined power overwhelmed Ryne. Urianger says that ice is the element closest to light and Ryne is already aspected to light, so mixing them caused Ryne’s power to go overboard. That’s why the normal fight has both ice and light phases.

@@tk3067 shouldn't fire be closer to light though?
@crowsnest76812 жыл бұрын
@@christopherbravo1813 If you mean that fire casts light, then technically yes. But in FFXIV Light is the element of Passivity or Stasis; the more Light an area has the less active it is. Darkness is the opposite, being Activity or Growth; the more Darkness an area has, the more active and chaotic it is. This means that Fire is actually more linked to Darkness as Fire is a very active element by nature. And Ice is more linked to Light as it is a very static element. If a heavily Dark aspected character tried summoning Ramuh through themselves, like Ryne did with Shiva, a similar thing would occur as lightning is the element most heavily linked with Activity(Darkness).
