Oliver, you have to go into the cabs of each engine to actually open their regulators. What happened in this video is Tornado was probably dragging Mallard and Flying Scotsman along

double and triple headers with pacifics were never possible during BR days or before as a lot of the rails and bridges would not be able to cope with the weight. I doubt that it would be possible to do so today on a railtour, not to mention on a preserved railway. nice concept though!

0:48 not too long ago, Flying Scotsman and Tornado doublehaeded in real life, and I immediately thought of your video that was only a month old! 2:05 Mallard could just be towed like Tornado did to it back in 2010! 4:35 Tornado (and many other LNER pacifics) have the best UK whistles! but many steam locos in the US, Australia, china, and Japan have greta whistles too! 9:23 that did happen at Old Oak Common open day this September!

The whistle you're hearing is actually mallards. The high pitched tone you hear before the triple toned whistle kicks in is tornados

What if you do the doublehead with via p42 #916, and an Amtrak p42 and they Will reach up to 136mph in northeast corridor from toronto to penn station new york and what if you do a triplehead with new haven p32s, metro north p32s, and amtrak p32s triple heading at high speeds! In the northeast corridor from new york to boston and they will pass old greenwich at 85mph and they will pass Stamford, ct at 100mph and they will pass derian, ct from 85mph to 100mph and they reach Fairfield, ct from 90mph to 110mph and they will stop at new haven and also they will pass old saybrook frpm 120mph to 130mph and they will stop at new london and they will pass Kingston at 136mph and they will stop at providence and they will pass mansfield at 136mph and final they will crash at Boston and it will happen In real life one day

The most modern, the fastest, and the greatest. Actually, the Pennsy T1 trust in currently building the most modern steam locomotive, and it’s believed that the T1 is also the fastest. It is believed to have hit 140+ in its golden age, but was never properly documented. So the construction of the engine is to be in hopes of claiming the worlds fastest steam locomotive, which has long belonged to the US. The greatest locomotive is your opinion, but I believe the best designed steam engines is the 90 ton mikado. It’s capable of pulling a 22 car passenger train up a 6% gradient at a speed of 20+ mph. Britain will never have an engine close to as capable as that. Factual wise, America has the strongest, fastest, and most efficient steam engines, but you guys can believe whatever you like

You know Mallard and Scotsman where doing nothing right? In train sim when multiple locos of different types double head you have to manually use the controls from the others cab, Tornado was pulling the entire train and two locos with it
