Looking at the lyrics again they just hit different… I can’t place a finger on it. I struggle a lot with procrastination and I always feel like I’m wasting my time and should get to doing something, but it just creates more stress and makes me feel inclined to do less work, which makes me feel even more useless and saddened. This song makes me feel heard, even if just being lazy isn’t a “big problem” compared to the other issues Eve’s songs have tapped into. Even so, it’s comforting… and it makes me feel motivated to pick my pencil up again.

I relate to this song so much. I’m a sophomore in high school and I’m really struggling with academics right now. All these expectations thrust upon me feel so heavy and I just want to spend my days lazying around with nothing to do. But to get to a prestigious college there’s so much you have to do. Since everyone keeps telling me how great I am, it gives me nothing but useless pride that I can just finish stuff in the future because if I’m that great, I’ll do it later. But I don’t finish it and I end up with nothing but regret. For me to actually do something I try to “humble” myself by pointing out everything I’ve done wrong before and it’s worked so far because with such low trust in myself, I’ve convinced myself that I don’t finish it now it means I won’t finish it later. but I feel like I’m slowly dying inside lol Overall, procrastination bad and I don’t feel so good 😭 On another note though, HOLY OH MY MOTHER OF CHRIST OFFSCRIPT ANIMATION AMAZING!!
