Pre-audio POV: You walk into Mitarai’s room to find him slumped over on his desk, pen still in hand (although it isn’t moving). You rush to him worriedly to find him only asleep. You let out a relived sigh as you gently pry the pen from his fingers. Mitarai shifts a little, but does not awaken. Setting the pen aside, you gently pull him up to lean him back in his chair. Mitarai groans softly, “No... I need to finish...” You reply in a soft yet concerned tone, “You can finish in the morning. Besides, have you eaten dinner yet?” He shakes his head wearily, “Mm mm. I didn’t have the time to eat...” Prying him away from his work, you sigh, “As I expected... come on... you need to get some rest... it’s 4 in the morning.” Finally giving up, he stumbles to his bed as you guide him and lays down. You make sure he is comfortable before turning. A cold hand grabs your wrist before you leave. “W-wait... Can you stay with me?” You look over to him before he continues, “I know I haven’t been the best boyfriend... but I can try and make it up to you...” It has been months since you two slept together, mainly because of the differing sleep schedules, so this offer was impossible to turn down. You slip under the covers next to him, and he almost instinctively curls up into your warmth. Knowing that he is already fast asleep, you wrap your arms around him and place a soft kiss on the top of his head, “Goodnight, Mitarai...”
