Lazy girl's earring holder | DIY:Easy

I've always been too lazy to always organize my earrings in one of those metal earring thingies because i would always end up loosing the back thing while pulling them out. So I thought this would be and easier, faster alternative for me.

4 years later update... Did the black paint ever rub off or need a touch up? Overall how has it held up?

I should of taken a picture! but it held up just fine. I ended up adding a hook in the back to hang on the wall and thats pretty much where it stayed the whole time. I got rid of it about a year an a half ago when I moved.

It's actually a picture that I bought from Hobby lobby. I dont know if theres a name to it but its pretty much just a square box made out of wood and on the "back side" is hollow which is where I put the foam.

How helpful!!! I just got my ears pierced so I dont have anything to put my earrings in so cool Im just wondering...even though the spray paint would be dry when u put earrings in it wouldnt the spraypaint contaminate the earrings?

Freya T I haven't had any issues tbh. I do try to regularly clean all my earrings with alcohol so if you do try it I do recommend doing that just in case.

naynay3965 I got everything at hobby lobby. But Im sure you can find it anywhere like walmart,michaels, etc. is usually by the fabric/sewing area

Yes! That's way they won't get lost. They should fit just right in the foam just make sure the foam is not too hard cause then you will struggle to get them in.

+Boho chick since the frame I used was an actual picture it came with the metal bar to hold in the screw so what I did is I took it off the picture and screwed it on the front of the picture (back of my jewelry holder) and then I just used a nail to hang it on the wall.
