there is another solid spot in mondstadt aswell that i would recommend u TP to the eagle gate at the electro cube boss and then just run towards dadaupa gorge ull see 2 at some anemo slimes fairly easy to grab em and a few are around ahead and on the right aswell easy to grab since they are quite spread out or just very close to each other so u can get em easily specialy if you dont have sayu/yao or any other units that are good for farming em

Once the cristal flys go away. Use click on character trials/ test run and logout immediately, the cristal flys will respawn immediately. Or use the teapot. Log in to teapot and return using the the teapot to be re spawn at the same exacta location. The cristal flys have already respawn. This method actually works for me since I'm a mobile player. And have the same problem

A random tip to spot the crystalflies easier: just change the clock to night-time, you'll be able to see them from very far away since they'll be shining.

Characters with the short male model (for example bennett) actually bunnyhop faster than tall male characters! So id recommend them instead! :D

Funny if we are going with the description that crystalflies are attracted to elemental energy, there are a lot of anemo crystalflies on the Dawn Winery. Venti and his alcoholism. But the sweet thing about it is there's a lone crystalfly next to an apple tree near Mondstat. And in that particular place, you could see the place perfectly. Even though he is not ruling, he is always watching.

(For Very Lazy People) There is a place in Liyue called Mt. Tianheng in between Lisha and Sea of Clouds.. At the Base of the area right under the name.. There are several Crystal Flies in that small area. Just place a Waypoint inside of it and you can get your Crystal Flies without really any effort at all.

A tip to avoid accidentaly interacting with the statues while trying to catch the crystal flies is to- On Mobile: Tap the middle of the screen when you get close to the crystal fly (this auto collects every material in range too) On PC: Scroll the mouse wheel up fast while spamming the F key, this will ensure you grab all crystal flies in range before you interact with the statue (this is also the fastest way to collect materials on the ground on PC)

I know it's probably too long to go through for all the crystal flies, but I personally like going around the Mikage Furnace in Inazuma. idk feels so satisfying to know where they all are in that area to me.

just to add another note, crystalflies' vertical movement range on PS4 is smaller, so it's easier to catch those in cramped areas like Mt. Tianheng and the passageway next to the Noblesse domain. I personally play on PS5 and it enjoys the same benefit as PS4.

My usual spot in gathering crystal flies: Liyue - the northern-west where the lawa churl is located - archaic/ bollide domain - chasm where the 2 ruin guards are located Mondstadt - windrise - dawn winery Inazuma - the waypoint at very top of Tatarasuna Island heading downwards passing by masanori. You'll see crystalflies to a nearby sakura tree and an npc girl who likes flowers. - the one where the three whopper flowers are located Sumeru - waypoint between outside sumeru city and ghandarva ville But just do what you think is efficient.

point to add for the first sumeru waypoint, there are actually 2 more you can EASILY get - run down the hill and collect the dendrograna (skip this if you have a dendro in your party) - go to the side of the hill which is facing the lake - search for a dendro pile (the stone tree things that can grow with dendro), it should be somewhere along the hill next to some stone sculpture - use a carged attack/dendro attack on the dendro pile and 2 crystal flies should be under it!

I discovered something after months of trial and error but it's amazing. If you try to catch the flies that are on top of Diluc's house, you'll only be able to catch one if you're lucky but most of the time they'll flying away by the time you get there even if you're with Sayu in your team. That was so annoying until I found out that... it was because of the pigeons!! The moment they see you they start flying and that alerts the flies so the start flying too! 😂 The solution: use both Sayu and Aloy and problem solved!! This game is amazing hahahaha

I don't use condensed because I find it easier to just run the domain 8 times than bother with the gathering/alchemy. 5:30 upon exiting the cave the way you entered, if you go left you will see two crystalflies near a geovishap and his two kids. if you near the tree to the right of the family, you will see two crystalflies, one on each side of the root

I've been farming the Portable WP Mining/Fly lazy log in spot in Serai Island for 1 year now (started October 2021). I have 3564 crystal flies to be exact just farming that exact same spot for a year everyday.

Another good farming spot is Kannazuka; however, it demands you to first do the Inazuma side quest with the lightning bolt trees and the one with the woman who is trying to plant a garden close to the Statue of the Seven. Once you do those, you can warp there, run up past the electrograna dispenser to where the woman is and around her flower field will be several crystal flies. Afterwards you just run onward until you hit the edge of the platform where the lightning tree is and several crystal flies will be flying around there too. I'd wager it's a total of 10 crystal flies that you can easily and quickly get, plus some boars, onikabuto (Itto is grateful) and 2 Kairagi.

There's a couple more spots in Sumeru: the entrance of the cave to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom (NOT the portal entrance - the overworld cave mouth) and the Vanarana Tree of Life. At least six more crystalflies that aren't too difficult to get.

You can actually enter and exit a trial domain to reload the crystalflies that have flown away too. Useful in situations where you have travelled far away from a tp waypoint

One best trick in collecting crystalflies is if the crystalfly flies away then teleport to far away waypoint and come back to same location in 10secs gap then crystalflys will respawn at the same location. This is the best trick i have ever found.

One path I usually take is the inside and outside of Amakumo Peak on Seirai Island. There is a decent amount of crystalflies and it's easy to grab them as they are either alone or close together in pairs.

Some people don't see the point of farming more than 4 crystal flies per day so here is the ultimate reason for: I once farmed a total of 600 crystal flies in link a month or two. After then that, I was able to stay for like a year without getting a single crystal fly. Now I'm back at the grind and have almost 300 after 2 weeks of daily farming.

There is hidden route in inazuma in tatarasuna mikage funace they are hidden in every bridge 2 flies appear if you are near you can get like 15+ crytalflies. Also above the furnace there this tree surrounded by flies and mined materials

That is... a lot of crystalflies to farm in one day. I just make a daily trip to windrise (during which I also check for an unusual hillychurl so I can lazily work towards the achievement) and that nearby statue of the seven with three crystalflies nearby it. This gets me at least 7 in total per day, of which I use 4 (I'll do 4 crystalized resin trips in my domains, plus one without crystalized since I want to use exactly 180 every day).

@@nightmarerex2035 Star Rail actually gives you 240 trailblaze energy a day (restores 1 every 6 minutes instead of 1 every 8 minutes for resin in Genshin). Although you can only hold 160 resin in Genshin and 180 trailblaze energy in Star Rail, the amount you can use in a day is slightly larger in both games.

All you need is to grab five crystalflies every day and you should be good because that more than covers 180 resin you get over 24 hours. Personally I never farm them, I just grab any I happen to pass by and as result I now have 2k of them without anything I'd call effort. But it's true that I'm also farming artifacts and ores every day and these routes just happen to cross a few areas where crystalflies spawn.

The idea wasn't necessarily to do the entire thing but to piece together the best parts from each region so newer players without access to every region could do it, or those who just dislike certain areas.
