I sometimes condition BEFORE shampooing to jus get everything detangled so it allows the shampoo to spread around the head easier, require less shampoo to be used to cover everything and just get all debree that’s not so stuck on the scalp out so the shampoo can really get in there.

I drench my hair first,then part it in 4 sections. I use a slippery conditioner and olive oil to detangle my hair in sub sections. Take the sections down, rinse, and wash. Deep condition, rinse, and moisturize! This take less than 2 hours for me.🥰

I have low porosity hair and a tip to hydrate your strands💧👩🏾‍🦱💧 I wash out my conditioner/cowash with Luke warm water(in the shower)🚿, then apply my go to products(out the shower)💃🏽. Finally I close my hair cuticles with my room temp aloe juice and seal my ends with olive oil.🤗 try it out see if yall notice a difference 🤗

Good ideas is using heat and warm tactics since your hair cuticles are closed real hard and dont let moisture in. EASY tips is using warm water when moisturizing your hair and always rubbing your product in your hands well before applying cause the friction will create heat.

Child!!! I just wash it here and there.. I just put any ole conditioner and shampoo in my hair.. I don’t use like anything when sleeping.. but when I pick it out it is a big Afro! But my hair tends to get tangled really quick. Also I’m looking at some oils that can keep my hair from being so dry.

Oils don’t moisturize, they only seal. so if you are putting oils on dry hair all it’s doing is blocking off additional moisture to the hair. Formulate a weekly routine/techniques & products that actually work & work well -- doesn’t have to be anything crazy complicated, & give your hair a good keratin treatment & trim to cut back on the breakage. 😉
