The Indian alternative for steam is stupid, we don't need it.If we want our "Indian games" to be recognised globally then every download through steam will help tremendously, if there is alternative store them the downloads will be divided which means the Statics will be halved,Concurrent player stats are very helpful in boosting downloads of a game. Another completely out of questions hard take is that Indian devs should use piracy to their advantage instead of speaking bad about them, Recently you must have heard about a studio actively asking players if they can't support the game through their money/are unable to then they are free to pirate it BUT instead pay it with their words like speak for the game if it's good. I have seen many indian content creators and devs speak bad about piracy.. piracy isn't all that bad of a thing if you just know how to work with it. Pirate's usually buy the game if they like it very much and for this example u can check r/piracy and r/piratedgames where people post time to time about buying the game with money because the game was so good. Indian devs have so much ego that they bash anyone who pirate's especially doing it on internet is very bad move intself. People always make the bad example of well just pirate only AAA games and don't pirate our indie game, it's hypocrisy. They know our Indian audience pirated all the time and they themselves must have done tons of time.The only reason they can give is that they didn't have money or whatever. It's like they completely makes people their enemy of those who pirate not realising they are in their position which they were in childhood. You can look through numerous reddit threads where people praising devs who are positive towards gamers not just running after money. Indian devs are ignorant because they want money ( I know it's important) but they are loosing on bigger thing like followers they can gain by just supporting gamers.If they can achieve following the sales will likely boost whenever they release new game in future.

I parate games like Elden ring , sekiro, dark souls 3, fallout 4, vegas and skyrim, another crabs tresure, lies of p, but after realising these are masterpiece i bought them. And ya i never pirated elden ring dlc i pre-order it. And ya frist game i never pirated was baldurs gate 3 i purchased that game and trust me it was the best decision.

I play ea fc24 , e football and I am hardly able to find anybody to play with except my few school friends , I think this genre is very good and has high potential to grow . Similarity I also play racing games like Forza horizon 5 and NFS unbound , I never found any body from India ,most players I found are either from china or Korea and sometimes Singapore .

Actually in India, people are afraid of taking risk. And also the gaming audience of India are like too judgemental.A new game releases suddenly start to compare it with western games rather than deeply analysing the game, The context of the game. While developing a game,a complete information about The game should be provided properly, what elements the game will consist of, then show that in the trailer. India is immature in gaming. So we will need to properly tell the audience what the game will have what is the purpose of this game.what is the meaning of fps and tps, like this terms. Its not like blindly following the events and just go with it. Indian game: make it traditional rather than just copying gta or battle royale games just like raji. Music plays a huge role and impact in gaming industries, we should give themes and soundtracks of indian games. To give that bond to make the listener feel the character he is going to play with. Ghost of tsushima have the best soundtracks ever, can't we make Something like that?

7:47 I don't think there is a need of steam like game distribution platform for India specifically because I think steam is the best game distributing platform in current times its sorting system, pricing and everything is really good and everybody know that Indian made things are not polished like when BGMI was also pubg there was a feel of polishness in the game but as soon as that game come to Indian distributors/devd or converted into BGMI it seems some quality losses and so many bugs in so many things that feel unpolished so Indian devs are not very much into their work when it comes to making polished and in great produc so I think steam is currently the best in the market and it should be that only .
