Just to Specifically Clarify, the Knives themselves are a reference to the character Johnny, from the comic book series Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, it was Jhonen Vasquez's very first comic before he went on to be a full time artist to make more comics and later on make Zim. As it sounds the story is quite violent but its a wild read and i reccomend it!

I really hope that Firemind gets a slight buff or at least a small rework in a future patch. I like the concept of shooting flaming tears, I dislike it forcing you to constantly be on edge when an enemy gets too close to you. I think a fun rework would be a custom explosion type for the firemind tears, something like a directional explosion. That way it's not a flat aoe that will hit you too, but instead something that explodes in the direction you are shooting. Or alternatively just make em not explode and rework how the burning effect works so that it is much stronger and it's a chance to light things on fire for Heavy Dot damage. Something like perhaps scaling Dot damage that outputs more damage then the direct tear itself. Or maybe lean into the fire aspect more and make the explosion do a very small tammy's head burst of fire when it explodes. Make it feel more special than it is, because I really like the concept of Firemind. Give me more Fire related synergies too.

Matt, just so you know, the Bael mod has its own version of Sacred Heart called Cat's Heart that gives you all the same stuff as Sacred Heart and also has a chance to give you another when you get hit, at the cost of 3 hearts of damage every time its picked up.
