When I did the run I didn't know of the diplo break, but I did take the number magnet for good devil rooms, used Mr Me for free devil items, as well as the Empty Heart to keep being able to pay for devil items to get all the devil room items, which included a twisted pair to do very fun things with the epic fetus.
