A few years ago I had this friend who played Isaac, I’d heard of the game before but had never played or really seen gameplay. I’d watch him play and get excited with him as he’d find items that were great, or fought hard bosses and it was kinda cool. He moved schools a year or two later. But then I got recommended one of your videos, (I’ve seen so many now that I cannot remember which) and it sparked something inside of me, that feeling… the Isaac Spark! Fast forward over a year of watching you daily and Isaac is on sale for the steam summer sale and I decided it’s time to get hooked for good. I was awful at first, but I kept pushing to get better using the knowledge you’re always providing in your videos to improve my skills and go gamer mode. Yesterday, I beat Mega Satan for the first time and Unlocked The Forgotten in the same run, now isn’t that gamer as hell. So all I have to say is thanks Matt (who I often accidentky call Isaac lmao) for making me into an Isaac gamer

happy birthday lazy also i feel the same way i've watched so many issac vids for years even all the way back when afterbirth was first starting and people were trying to kill hush for the first time from hutts to tear of grace having so many broken builds to slay helping us issac noobs trying to figure out what items work with what one offs like game grumps and hell even the game theory on isaac and jt music's music on it which started my love for the game tho i never thought i would buy it cuz how the hell are you going to do all of this. cut to years later when i was looking for more issac vids when a lazy worm profile icon comes to my recommendations think it was one of the vids where you start with Polyphemus and i loved it it was like watching tear all over again the screams, the close calls, seeing you seconds away from beating hush it was amazing watching vid after vid then i looked on the PlayStation store that issac rebirth was only 15 bucks so i finally bought and now i see how people is addicted to it so thanks lazy for getting me into issac again heres for more birthdays and vids for the future (drinks jesus juice) 💚

Hey Matt I have an idea for the mod, a q0 item that gives you a useless familiar but the description it’s 1 half of a whole, and a q4 item that shoots godhead tears and saves you from death once, the description is the same, if you get both it saves you from death 5 times before disappearing and has tears that apply the depressed effect. (Enemy with this effect leaves a trail of depression creep until it’s dead, lowers speed and stays forever the description is finally together. The sprite for the q0 is a grey normal baby split in half, q4 is a baby with white robes and half godhead. Also happy b day

8:31 synergy idea could be with haemo , you could have the effect where you super heat the enemy make their blood boil and they explode into tears that leave behind a high damage blood bomb creep pile. Another could be fire mind and the lasers that spawn are replaced with the fire effect from the fire boom flies in mines. Lacrephagy could make the enemies grow before exploding and make the resulting lasers larger.
