This type of video prevents this from becoming a lost art. It’s like a video textbook from a master craftsmen. 👍

The testimony of a master craftsman is how easy they make a job look. Your calm and easy going style makes this look easy, believe me,it is far from easy! This is the work of a real master who has perfected the art of metal shaping.Absolute respect for your skills and very high standard of workmanship. Always very inspiring and informative.

Love it! I sat in front of the TV watching guys restore or build cars. I'm not the type who sit around wishing for something for too long, so I went out and bought some equipment. Now I'm hooked and built my own front end for a 1979 F600. The thing looks mean, but it took way too long to put together by just winging it... then I found your videos! BAM! The beast is getting ready for skim coat and blocking! Thank you for the incredible knowledge! I will be buying all your DVD's! I want to design and build my own car now!

Lazze I could never thank you enough for the lessons I have learnt from you over the years, over KZbin and even in person when I travelled from Australia to meet you in 2015. You are truly a gifted metal shapper and I will be signing out for more of your content as I have already enjoy all 9 of your dvds. Thank you for ongoing contributions to the global knowledge base.

Thank you Lazze i am a fellow sheet metal lover, it is so true you can never stop learning, the ability to shape metal and put fenders on cars Is a Lost art, just look at all the hot rods nowadays that don't have fenders ,when they say that looks good ,they are just making excuses, it looks like a butterfly with it's wings ripped off.

To think that the cars were stamped with special dies , this man is literally taking small sections and reverse engineering it in his head and using many smaller tools and achieving the same result. I restore vehicles but this man is top level. I don’t even come close!

Thanks Lazze I’m making a boot frame at the moment and I think running the 2 flat dies it’s going to help me get the shape I want. Your a legend. 👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent video Lazze. I'm hoping to someday build something similar to a 1934 Ford pick-up truck. I don't need it to be an exact replica. I just want to build something that has that kind of antique look to it. My plan is to start with an actual 4WD chassis from a modern small truck like a Ford Ranger or similar. I imagine I'll have to modify the front end of the body quite a bit to fit this modern chassis. This is why I'm planning on building the body from scratch. And like I say, it won't be the same as a 1934 Ford pick-up. But as long as I can build something that give that general look I'll be happy. So I really enjoy watching your videos for all these great tips and your years of experience in metal shaping. Thanks for posting them.

this is probably a non sequitur, but it occurred to me as i watched you using the roller to curve that thin piece of steel, that auto body manufacturing in this manner, (hand made), is most likely and extension of making plate armor. Thoughts?

I love the art of shaping metal, but if and when you do it people don't understand the time which relates to cost, and sometimes you can't buy a replacement panel for something so it has to be made and then the cost of it sometimes can triple. Not everyone can do this and I'm trying to learn the art because it's a very good trade to know ?
