This is why block heaters were invented. Just put a new one in my truck and it started up like it wasn’t even cold out even though was -35 and it’s a diesel lb7 as well. Start using it. You will thank me later. Or get a new one if it doesn’t work. Best thing I ever did was buy a new one for my truck.

@bilderbeargroup42173 жыл бұрын
If you keep the stock exhaust it provides the right back presure which helps it start, the lb7 has high compression and works great and reliable when stock, the injectors need to be replaced along with the cp3 high pressure feul pump, two common issues.
@JasonY023 жыл бұрын
@@bilderbeargroup4217 would a air dog basically replaced the fuel pump or is it to assist it ?
@bilderbeargroup42173 жыл бұрын
@@JasonY02 the cp3 pump is in the valley of the engine to create pressure up to 2,600psi to atomize the feul properly. The pump seals usally go resulting with diesel filling the crank case plus the feul pressure regulator goes bad.
