Happy to see LBA focusing on Buddhist causes finally. Plz keep the existing chokhang as it is and just restore and renovate it. Demolishing such old heritage Gonpa is really not a good idea at all. Demolishing old chortens and gonpas will bring bad fortune for us. Many of our Rinpoches including HH The 14th Dalai Lama and HH The 12th Gyalwang Drukpa blessed Chokhang Vihara several times and it posses huge positive energy and blessings. Kindly review the decision. However, surrounding buildings of existing chokhang vihara can be demolished and rebuilt creating more parking space. There are plenty of nice lands in the vicinity of Leh city where a new Chokhang vihara can be built adjusting LBA office within the new campus. Demolition of sacred gonpas and chortens is not a good idea for sure. Rest all of you are wise enough. 🙏🙏🙏

Parking needs underground as in leh not enough space , 2 level underground parking ,it will help a lot everyone and bring incomes to LBA .
