I was going to say the same thing. With no foreign reporters allowed, and the healthcare completely destroyed, there's been no way to confirm deaths for months. But the bombing hasn't stopped, the shelling hasn't stopped, and famine is spreading. To say the death toll stopped at where it was in February is disingenuous from all these media members. The reason why the number has been stuck at the 35000 mark for the past couple of weeks is mainly because the whole infrastructure for tracking and recording fatalities has utterly collapsed in Gaza. Additionally, missing persons are not accounted for, people buried under rubble are not accounted for, males of a certain age are not accounted for. Tally all of those extra people up, and you'll find that we're probably now approaching the 30000 mark in unaccounted deaths in addition to the 35000, as of this month. In addition, between then and now, even more people have been dying at an accelerated rate due to famine, untreated injuries, and and further killings and the figure will probably comfortably pass 100k fatalities when all is said and done.

The figure 100K is when counting the dead AND injured. With ever reducing access to areas by Israel full count is unknown and at this point probably higher, and not all counts include the missing under rubble. So the number does shift even without BS propaganda downplaying it. The number of dead at about 35K is held to be a credible figure at this stage.

On the main point, Moral armies don't need a specific crime against taking civiliians to use as human shields which Israel does, was implemented 20 yrs ago and has had 30 convictions. Also recently an Israeli entire Battallion THOUSANDS of troops subject to sanctions for there actions in the West Bank and now redepolyed to Golan heights. It would have been 5, but the other 4 took disciplinary action to avoid the sanctions. That is not the record of a moral army, and that's not even scratching the surface, it isn't just the last 8 months, it has NEVER been a moral army.

If the Israelis had had any kind of success they would not have had to return to Jabalia,Zeitun and Gaza City in order to attempt, once again to clear out Hamas. Their military aims have been largely an abject failure.
