It's nice to see someone who spends the time and effort to do something the right way 👍 My Dad drummed it into my head that there is never enough time to do something right, but there's always time to do something over🤔. He was right about something else, the older I get the smarter he was.

I was an apprentice at a welding fabrication shop about 2 months ago and i used it as an opportunity to custom make my xj's front/ back bumper and custom rocker panels. Having knowledge in fabrication and welding can help put a lot if you dont wanna empty your pockets.

Thanks! Have fun working on your XJ. What lift are you getting?
@1crazynordlander5 жыл бұрын
@@2drx4 I am trying to do this without spending too much money so I went with Zone's 4.5 inch lift with the full rear leaf set. I have been scanning Cherokee experts on KZbin and about a year ago ran across Cherokee Ron that's all about low dollar builds. He recommended Zone for budget and BDS if money was no object. Zone is owned by the same company that makes BDS and I guess their stuff is all made in North America. I live in Minnesota so I get the northern climate lifestyle. Your explanations are top notch. If it is okay I think I will copy your front and rear bumper design. Best I have seen so far!
@2drx45 жыл бұрын
I think you'll be happy with that lift, Zone does seem to be bang for the buck quality. Go right ahead and copy anything you like, be sure to take some pictures or make a movie and share what you've done!

@SarahSmith-hd8kd5 жыл бұрын
Why is that? Width? Cause if so I got about 50 trail rigs all Cherokee in WA state say different and hose are some very tight trails if you know where to look just saying. I will say I don't like widening them for real trail rigs either that's why I stuck with my Dana 30 HP trussed it welded inner tube sleeves C-gussets 1/4" control arm mounts WJ knuckle and brake swap OX cable locker with the new redesigned cable with threads at both ends now will push to lock but now pulls the fork back to unlock and a rear 8.8" 31 spline LSD with rear disc 4.56 gears
