LBZ Duramax with RDS 64mm turbo, sound clips

Installed a 64mm turbo on my 2006 LBZ Duramax! Pain in the butt to swap out but it was worth it! let me know what you think of it 🤘🏼
Set up is with S&B intake, 3” down pipe and 4” exhaust all the way back. No muffler.

@@adunn7233 if you haven't already you should do the turbo resonator delete and get a s&b vgt mouthpiece. She'll whistle even louder.

I’ve done the resonator delete but not the mouth piece. I want to do a HSP high flo kit soon

25psi is the most I’ve pushed it honestly, being on a stock trans and not studded I try not to beat it up to much.

Super random but im curious what might cause the turbo to have that stutter like sound on deceleration, my 06 LBZ has a KC 10 blade and sounds exactly the same as yours on deceleration. You can hear it most noticeably at around 1.20 min into your video. Super clean truck btw.

me personally, I have a stock 07 LBZ and being the 18 yr old like I am I took my exhaust off one time to just be loud and mine did the same thing. I think they all sound like that idk why but I dont think its a problem. sounds kinda like a choo choo train? IDK

Thanks man I appreciate it! For being all stock internally it runs pretty well with my tunes that I have. The trans can’t keep up with tune 4 or 5 tho lol. 30% overs would be sweet with the 64mm

I think it’s the 1200$ one, all together I paid 1800. Then you get 450$ back once you send in your core.

It wasn’t to bad, getting the pedestal bolts lined up and back in was the worst part due to how little space there is other than that not to bad
