Mindbendingly PERFECT!!!!!! I'm 65 and heard this 6 years ago for the first time after being picked up from the hospital after a 31 day stay. I almost died there. My friend said in the first couple of minutes of the song, "don't worry, it picks up in a couple of minutes.. " OMG!!! Maybe my favorite song of all time for the last 6 years now.. if you don't have the patience and appreciation of the first 3 min, you don't deserve the next 5 min!!!!! 😉

In my 9 years attending this fest(yea I'm getting older) I don't think I've ever seen a headlining act in which the crowd was so focused and into their set. Not packed like sardines, no assholes talking the entire time. Just tons of people that wanted to dance and have a good time and not fuck up anybody's mood. For years I've been saying the best performance I've ever seen there was the raconteurs in 08(way better than radioheads set that same day), but that may have changed when this evening was finished.

I totally agree with the crowd being into it, not talking during every song and actually singing along and dancing. That's how I thought it would be again at Pitchfork 2017 and damn, I couldn't have been more wrong. Unless you were literally in the middle of the crowd more than halfway up you had to hear people talk. If you made it to the middle you were packed and it was HOT even though it was only 72 out. Besides that group of people there in the middle, no one was singing and a lot of people weren't even facing the stage. Sound wasn't very good either. The enjoyment didn't even come close to this set which was a bummer.

I went into this concert with high expectations and it ended up being even better than I had hoped. This was absolutely fucking unbelievable.

Best set of the entire weekend. Even better performance than Radiohead

Nothing is better than Radiohead. But they were quite good.

Radiohead was a completely different performance than LCD Soundsystem. It was so spacy and intense and I loved every second of it. When they played "Karma Police" as an encore, my head imploded.

He totally knew the crowd, I think he hated it but he knew who he was playing to.

why would you say something like that?

He kept talking about how young everyone was very sarcastically and he only played hits

+Brad Carlson they played the same set they've been playing all tour. Had nothing to do with the audience. And he wasn't talking sarcastically about anyone's age. Seems like you're projecting your own feelings onto the band.

He actually said during the performance that there was a nice mix of different generations (in a positive way)
