Landau is exactly the kind of person to win this. He is humble and extremely talented. My wife and I want to see him perform live badly.

"Thank you for letting me be myself" is what he said after his win. This is one of the reasons my husband and I found Landau Eugene Murphy Jr not only down to earth but very talented. He was the hidden treasure that AGT found and shared with America and the world. We voted for him and were so glad when he was announced the winner.

I love Mr. Murphy. He's got an awesome voice and he sings Sinatra beautifully. He is the one I'm pulling for this season.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Murphy nor do I think I will ever have the opportunity. I live on the other side of the country from where he is. I saw his performance on television and was as shocked as the judges. What a wonderful voice! I have heard Frank Sinatra's version of this and I actually like Mr. Murphy's voice better.

Doesn't matter WHO he sounds like - he's smart enough to pick the sort of songs that suit his voice. The fact that he sounds like a better version of Sinatra is just part of the fun with this guy. Who expects a cornrowed hillbilly to sound like the Chairman? NOBODY! Just part of his charm, I think. And I picked him to win from this audition. Now that he's in the finale, I haven't changed my mind. America loves guys like this, and that's why he'll win.

I love when a person like this, joe average, who works a job like washing cars or working at foot locker. probably only makes enough money to live, but never could afford a house on their income. comes out and does really well. I hope he can find away to make some decent money through his talent so he never washes another car but his own.

I wonder if there are any legitimate songwriters left who can write stuff for crooners as well as the stuff written for the crooners of the past. I don't want LEM to rerecord Sinatra stuff. But I like him singing new stuff that Sinatra would have sung if he were alive today. I hope that whole genre would come back and who better than LEM to bring it back.

it's a matter of professionalism. no one wants to see a piece of gum rolling around in sa singer's mouth and yes it absolutely can hinder a singer's performance if they're trying to sing and keep a piece of gum in their mouth. Morgan was 100% in the right for telling him to take it out.

@gspsucks so we should assume your a natural ignorant a%^!!! Frank Sinatra isn't for everyone so yeah you have the right not to like him but to be so rude and judgmental is ignorant. I do not like country but I won't be insulting but then again I don't need to cry out for attention. I feel sorry for closed minded people like you but I will take back the assumption I did and apologize for stooping to your level.
