My dad is an Iraq veteran and me and him loved this series he pointed out what was accurate and what’s fiction. The ratio of fiction (because he was a humvee gunner) and non fiction was 10-90 He said most of it was accurate but a few things didn’t stick to him.

I gotta admit that I haven't really appreciated the story in the previous long road home videos, or any other of your videos really. And just thought the fighting was cool. But this video was something else, the best video you ever have made by far, because of the interesting story. But not only that, you also did really cool fighting and everything, for example at 3:50 when they were in the building. Really look forward to the next video, keep up the good work 👍

As soon as I heard something about a QRF and a lost group of guys, I knew what series you took this from! To be honest you were able to replicate the source material so well!! I liked how you used police caps to sort of emulate the Afghani "Pakol" hats on the insurgents! All your vehicle animations looked great, even found myself paying atttention to your buildings in the background and they all look great!

Amazing video, this is probably the best animation I’ve seen about this war on the platform. I’ve been thinking of doing an Iraq war stop motion, have to do some research of course. I also have to be very careful how a portray each side, especially after seeing some of the comments on this video

With wars like ww1 or ww2 it feels very black and white (I know it’s more complicated then that but on the surface it seems simple) but recent wars are extremely complex with generations of combat, to the point that it’s very hard to see who is good and bad, I realised not too long a go that it’s just not that easy to understand.

@@ukramturayev588 First of all I dont praise America for this war. I really think it was a mistake. BUT! Do you remember why USA attacked Iraq? First of all no one touched Saddam until he attacked Kuwait. Correct? Correct. So Iraq was THE FIRST one who started a war in the region. Also Saddam used poison gas agains kurds. Those are facts. So, what the world had in that region? Country who kills people inside and have agression plans to attack neighbours. Correct? Correct. So USA asked permission to see the plants which could prtoduce weapons of mass destruction. Why Iraq couldnt allow them to check everything? So in general I admit that there wasnt any chemical plants in Iraq and Iraq didnt support AlQaeda, but Iraq made everything for the world to think that they have weapons and may attack other countries. So its like 50/50 guilt on each side for this war.

8:26 That M2 Bradley’s 25mm gun had way too slow a fire rate (unless the gunner was just tapping the trigger) and the 25mm rounds were really underpowered. Realistically those 25mm rounds would have mutilated that guy beyond recognition.
