Great video. What is the average depth of your dives when you met manta rays and sharks? Did they do anything to attract the whale sharks ?
@LukasWalter8 жыл бұрын
+刘一向 thanks. The Manta rays were between 13-17 meters deep. They sharks around 30 meters. It was usually at an entrance of a channel with incoming tide. We used our reef hooks and enjoyed the show. As for the whale sharks they put a light at the back of the boat which attracted plancton and with it whale sharks which came to feed.

Wow this video is out of this world. I'm planning the same trip with actually the same camera. Looks like you use a video light right? What settings do you use? Manual white balance I think too? Thanks
@LukasWalter7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ramon. I only used video lights on the night dives and maybe one or two other dives because the current was often quite strong so I didn't like all the drag with the lights. So a couple times I used a red filter or then manual white balance.

Crackinh shots Luke, did same circuit with Blue O Two last year. How did you get in so close to the whale sharks mouth without it buggering off? And what did you edit in? The color correction us really good and consistant too.

Thanks a lot Gavin for your feedback. This video I edited in iMovie but I have moved to premiere pro since. for shots of the whale sharks mouth they were feeding right at the back of the boat so I was only sitting there and held my camera in the water.

Thank you, this is so true
@bunbun71145 жыл бұрын
Imaany Immi no because it looks like it’s night time and large lights were used to lure the whale shark and that’s abuse.

Danke dir vielmals! Coole Tavel Seite.
