LCYP Young Beoirs Gathering

The Young Beoirs Gathering took place to mark Cruinniú na nÓg 2022 in Limerick City and was inspired by suggestions from a group of teenage girls from Abbeyfeale. Some 60 young people gathered together in Dance Limerick where they experienced workshops in film, photography, food sharing, henna tattoo, make-up, craft and several dance genres. The event was curated by the Local Creative Youth Partnership for Guth na Mincéirí, a six-month celebration of Traveller culture in Limerick.
