In this video I will show you a solution that I found out when I was putting together my closed wireless in ear system for my band.

This is extremely helpful, I'm literally EATING all videos on KZbin related to IEM systems and you're the only one so far that actually EXPLAINED how to solve a problem. Thank you very much. As I'm starting to build my band's IEM system using LD Systems units I'm wondering: what's the real difference between the MEI 100 and the MEI 1000 in your opinion? As the price range is different I'm wondering if the cheaper ones are enough for our needs or not. Thans man!

I am glad to hear that I could help you. I have only tried the MEI 100. So I can't tell you the differens. The MEI 100 is great for the money. We had them on our European tour and they where good. Later in my life I hope to change them to a better system but then we are talking Shure and that is much future down the line...

@@PsyckadeliTV thanks for your reply! Just out of curiosity, what was the size of the venues you played? Was the range of the MEI 100 always ok?

@@santoclemenzi They where normal size club scenes. You need to go quite far away to get out of range. I have walked around in the hallways of our rehearsal space and when walking where there are wall then it might lose the range. But no problem on stage...

Read the frequency chart, go for equal spacing making use of the whole band, then adjust individual frequencies for minimal intermodulation if need be.

Martin Höög the only thing you can do is to set the channels as far away from each other. I had to set them evn more apart then what I do in this video. I was lucky that I had the option to be able to do that with these...

Monster sort of. I had a Sennheiser system a couple of years ago. Maybe the sound was better but it was using so much battery power that I like this system more. We bought this because it was not the cheapest. It is good enough for now. We will probably upgrade later but it is a good system for us at this level...

Isn't this because the antennas interfere with each other? Wouldn't you be better of with an antenna combiner?

Hello!

@@PsyckadeliTV I bought six Mei 100 G2 B5 earphones and I built them in a box. The six antennas are 15 centimeters apart and seem to interfere with each other. Do you have any ideas for that? How do you handle this elsewhere?

@@tamaskolonits6883 My best solution is to get the frequencies as far apart as possible. So the first system on the lowest value and the last one on the highest and the other in between but as far apart. I start getting problems when I run four systems. So I don't know how hard it will be if you have six of them. But you need get them as far away from each other. You need to go true the different groups and channels and see what they will give you and find the one that are most away from each other...

@@PsyckadeliTV The distance between the antennas should be at least one wavelength. Unfortunately, only half of it. The frequencies are programmed in your way. 1-1, 3-3, 5-5, 7-7, 9-9, 10-12 I've had several times to "clean up" each other. There is an antenna community, but more than 800 USD.

I'm using the same model . I use it in mono mode and it was extremely noisy and except that, when I play my keyboard and the playback track (wav mono) together , the signal in my ears is a disaster! Especially in bass frequencies. Does someone know the reason? I'm using Shure se215 . I hope if I turn it in stereo mode with stereo playbacks playing around it may solve that problem.

most of your problems is because of that antenna farm you have there, wrong placement, wrong direction, having a metal plane parallel to them and multiple antennas too close to one another. those systems are very low quality and they need all the help they can get.
