Awesome, Craig. Great to have another video, as long as you take care of yourself, and don't get all burnt out like. I've been there, and it's not great. Keep up the good work, mate! I just did a video on this awesome little thing last week. It's a lot of fun, and truly surprised me with how well it handles. I do love the really small stuff though, and have like 5-6 Orlandoo Hunter rigs already. I even "made" my own (tiny 90mAh) 2S batteries for my tiny, brushless powered Orlandoo X01 cage buggy thing just last week. :) I received the little "crawler park" set for it today, but haven't built it yet. I'm really not a fan of those wooden crawler park things for mini crawlers, which all seems way too expensive for far too little fun. The wooden stuff for the X43 was only like 20 bucks though, so I figured what the heck. It's not as nice as the micro indoor scale course I have, but should be a bit of extra fun for this tiny truck. I'd like to check out the other 1/43, the Sniclo (or something like that) Lada Niva version. Looks to be the exact same chassis as this one, but with a Lada Niva body on top (and FPV stuff), but it is a bit pricey. Oh, and I also just received some other 1:43 scale RCs this week. The little drift cars, that I'm really exceited to be able to try out. They look like a lot of fun too. Got the Porsche, the Skyline and the BMW. :D

Firstly, thank you very much for the support, in words and resources. You didn't have to do that! It is appreciated. Second, I need to check out your videos! I'll do that today. Third, I also have the little skyline here! To see such a small thing, with a gyro built in, I just had to try it to see what it was like! Very cool. My first little look didn't show much about existing designs for crawlers for this size. Maybe I'll design a few tiles that can be connected in any order, with various obstacles on it. Seems like it'd go well with this little thing!

Hi Craig! It's great to see you. Dealing with health is challenging and rarely linear in my own experience, but life will get better and I'm happy to hear you're doing alright. That's a pretty sweet little truck. It looks like it would be perfect for the winter indoor days that are coming for us Northern Hemisphere folks. I'd love to get a little trailer and tow my boys' hot wheels around the house. They'd love that. Thanks for bringing this little beauty to my attention. Take care Craig!
@RCTNTАй бұрын
@WestyCoastHermit thank you! I did see a couple of trailer designs on thingiverse for this rig. No obstacle courses though, which is impetus to design a few!

@@RCTNT In Norwegian I'd say "det skulle bare mangle", which roughly translate to that should only miss, which I guess mean, well deserved or goes without saying, or something to that effect. :D It's a bit like trying to directly translate fair dinkum or bloody oath. ;) I got the little drift cars without gyro, as I wanted on for each of my kids, and one for me, and the non-gyro ones were about 15 bucks cheaper, each. Hopefully they'll still do ok. From what I have seen online, they should do well even without the gyro, but even better with one, of course. I try and make videos now and then, and hopefull more often in the future, as I quite enjoy it. I've mostly just been making a lot of shorts lately, but also a few "proper" ones. :)

It's a lot of effort to put a video together, fair dinkum

Great timing, seeing as how us Northern Hemispherers are going into winter I can see the 1/43 crawlers being a great time on those cold northern days. You could get really creative with a desk top crawler course.

For sure. It's a great size for desktop adventuring

When i was watching this, i had exactly the same thought about my younger self, loving something like this. Back in the day, my parents would have a box in the back of the car which would go down tonthe coast with us, and my brother and i woukd play in the sand and dirt with cars, and construction equipment. Something like this would have been perfect!! As for your health issues, as you know, im going through some stuff at the moment, and can completely understand how your feeling. You have to come first, and we all understand that, but it was great to get a new video to watch. Take care, and ill see you on the next one. 😉👍🏻

@@RCTNT you should get the wooden course that goes with it. At the time I paid about $20 usd. Throw in some can foam and 3d printed cones and it still doesn’t take much space.

Thanks, I linked to it in this video at the 7:38 mark. I was thinking of designing a few things for 3D printing, but then someone mentioned Lego and of course, that's the best answer! Love this idea. Seems the most appropriate for something this size :)

At this size you could use Lego and make some fantastic obstacles - then pull it apart and re make it differently. Looks like a great rainy day inside car for kids (and big kids!) when stuck inside. Great to see you back - take it easy, dont worry about making too much content, just make it when you want, and well watch it no worries!

Lego! Of course! Yes, that's such an obvious and excellent idea! Thank you 😊 (I've updated the video title thanks to your comment. Good call!)

I won one of these on one of those online bidding sites , got it for $15 ..!! It was listed as brand new and it was, only thing was the little drivers side mirror was broke off and missing, but the car itself and the remote were absolutely brand spanking new..!! I have lots of different RC's, and this is one of my favorite. This little thing is unstoppable haha, but let me warn you, if it falls from anything over 1 foot, be prepared to repair it. My cat knocked mine off the bed and the axel popped out, it was a pain to work on because the pieces are so tiny, but I managed to put it back together and it's fine. . you can set the left/right steering up to 125% , same with forward/reverse , definitely can tell a difference in turning radius. I couldn't believe I won this little gem for just $15 ...!! It goes for like $130 on Amazon, and even if I had paid that price, it would be totally worth every penny Edit: i will say this thing is a little top heavy when you get it on a steep enough incline, i think adding a bit of weight on that front end would help, but i don't really know a whole lot about this stuff, i just know I'm a 50 year old grown child, and i know what I like, and i like this thing a whole lot .!!

Looks cool and fun but is a bit pricey for its limited abilities. It’s a shame that the gear is exposed on the bottom.

I paid like just a little over 100 bucks on Banggood, with shipping. That's pretty decent, considering the quality of the car itself, and that it comes with an extra body, and a really nice radio. Axle housings, wheels, and even drive shafts are all metal, which is pretty nuts on such a tiny thing. :)
