Nice one tracking that boost cut issue! You're definitely a petrol head, thinking logically, sourcing and fixing an error immediately takes a good relationship between a man and his machine.

Thanks a lot. Slowly but surely figuring things out on my own. Had too many situations where I was lost and needed to go back to my tuner to fix things like this. It's great to be able to DIY.

When you said "Actually, I should go around this way so I can run it on the N1" I laughed and thought you better make sure there's no camera before you boost yourself into an expensive ticket 😂 only to see there was really a camera set up when you got there 🤣 that was defs a sign for more boost 🚀

That was a sneaky camera setup there. Usually its quite visible going into town but damn I nearly had a bad time there 🤣 and it wouldn't be an expensive ticket, it would be a straight to court situation. Need to take it easy on the streets. I've had too many close calls. 🙈

If it's not a boost spike then start by changing your fuel filter then if that doesn't work drain your tank and try fresh ethanol as it has a short shelf life once in your tank.

Bad ethanol can cause a boost cut or pull timing depending on the ecu your using .

I mentioned in the video that the boost cut was set too low. It was a closed loop boost cut but I'm running open loop so it didn't work as expected. All sorted now though.
