I have to say Artur, I have watched this video for a couple of weeks, and this my favorite by a mile. I used to pump my skateboard back in the 70s and, to me, it had the same feeling of what you are doing " surfing the concrete" I am now 59 and pumping is now a science, I have recently started again having left it for 40+ years. I have a lot to get to grips with in terms of my fitness and technique, but slowly getting there. I bought a second hand g bomb but am now trying the set up with a top mount, which I find to feel more robust twitchy and fun. This video recaptures my youth and reminds me of why I want to persue pumping again. Thanks for putting it out there. By the way the music is perfect. Mike

@@mikeherbert6131 nice to hear that, Mike! I am an enthusiast of pumping and mainly topmounts, which I believe to give much more "surfability" on pumping. I know today people put pumping like a science, but If I can offer you some thought would be "don't mind that, just go out there and try to make / pump the way you would like your pumping to be". I will be waiting anxiously for your videos! By the way, music is from O Rappa, a Brazilian band which achieved great succes in beggining 2000s. I recommend their acoustic (kzbin.info/aero/PLDUKGIAvGa4O5ZBfUnplQ0Ws7CJzXkTaU). Artur

I see your heel is sometimes off the board. Is all your weight on your front foot? How weight shifting works for you?
@arturmaniero7 жыл бұрын
Pepa Štefan, yes, sometimes my heels go off the board, when I "jump" up and front. The weight shifting is everything. When you make the movements of carving with your weight, not only your legs, you can produce much more power. I'm inspired by surfing movements, so I try to start the S movement by carving deep, then I make the jump and land completing the S and pushing the back truck with the back leg. This is one basis movement, but I combine in different variations. My weight is most part in front foot, but it is switching. Sometimes I pump only with the back leg, sometimes I move my front and back legs in opposite directions, close to those two wheels skateboard movements to gain speed, than large pump again...and it goes on mixing movs!

qual o tamanho do shape, e qual truck está usando?
@arturmaniero7 жыл бұрын
Rodrigo Rocha, o shape tem umas 38" total...por volta de 31" de wheelbase. Trucks de precisão Don't Trip Poppys. Quiser umas dicas add no facebook: Artur Maniero. Abs

beleza, estes trucks são caros mas são os melhores mesmo?
@arturmaniero7 жыл бұрын
Cara, são bons! Mas se está começando recomendo Bennet 5.0 na frente e Tracker RT-S na traseira. Mas cada peça pode ser escolhida pra fazer um setup ideal...
