My understanding is that retail cashiers are trained to make change on the counter not in your hand. If you have coins in your change it us less likely to fall out of your hand. And counting on the counter it is more lively to recorded by surveillance cameras. And if they hand the change to your hand most of the times it isn't counted back it is just handed. You could imagine how many times they get. ''You didn't give me right change" I have had to pull a cashiers till(drawer) to find out it was right and the customer was trying to scam us. Count it on the counter customer verified the change they pick it up. Less problems.

Formula : "number of people increases arithmetically: difficulty increases geometrically" or 2 people equals 4 times the hassle, 4 people is 16 times more frustrating. Keep in mind trike drivers and most people earn less than 10,000php a month. that is just 333.33php a day max minus their meals they might be down to 250php a day. You don’t expect them to carry 1000php worth of change on a daily basis, they can’t even earn half of that amount. They are the “isang kahig, isang tuka” or the hand-to-mouth kind of people just like the guy you met in the slums below the bridge in your previous vids.

That's funny It is much more common to receive a wrong direction from someone just so they can get rid of you as they have no idea what you are saying in the first place, it is easier to just tell you the wrong way and to save face then it is to spend the time with you to understand where you are actually trying to go......the interesting part of filipino culture is the fact that lying to you is not a loss of face to them.

I'm surprised you didn't carry water and some snacks for the ride and just in case you need it when you get there. I'm neurotic in that way. Too many times living in Hawaii and driving a long ways to Hana or a boat ride off Island to Molokai or Lanai, I didn't have any and couldn't get water or food.

Are you recording or exporting the video with a low bitrate? 1080p doesn't look like 1080p. Safe travels mate
