I tried-got to episode 8, then gave up. I found their chemistry lacking (I know I have a bias and a LDW and YIN problem) and the story all over the place. I know that LDW is flirty with his costars, and goofy-it’s how he gets comfortable. But I have always felt that he’s just a little bit shy around YIN off screen and just “different” with her. I’m sure it’s just my delusional fantasy, but one can hope, right? Two things stand out to me-his suggestion to the director of Goblin to add the kissing scene at the end (there’s a video showing them chatting before the scene and he tells her they have to practice kissing and she says no (arms crossed) and he says “it’s in the script” (but it wasn’t, it was an ad lib) and she’s laughing but saying she won’t do it (because I don’t think she believed him). When he kisses her the first time, he was so embarrassed afterwards, too. And, his tears during the breakup scene in THY (see BTS for that show). I think he may have had a crush on her in Goblin, but she just thought of him as silly. But during their promotional interviews for TYH, she said more than once that she finally realized what other people meant when they said he was so good looking, and that he made her heart skip a beat when he smiled at her during scenes. 😍 I think they just need one more drama to realize their true affection for one another before they’re too old! 😫
