That "come as you are" thing is something that the church started saying to draw in people who didn't have accustomed church attire. Most people nowadays have the finances to purchase any clothing they desire. Please let's choose appropriate and respectful clothing when coming into the Lord's house and presence. These same clothing would not be appropriate in other settings. God looks at everything we do, say and think. What we reveal is what's in our hearts.
