Composition and sound designe of the short animation made by Jakub Tokarczyk, for the MAAAV Universite Lumiere Lyon entrance exam. Épreuve d’admissibilité au Master MAAAV : recrutement 2023
The story takes place in modern times, in a small town. In a quiet atmosphere, a boy in love buys flowers. When he realizes that he is late, in a panic, he starts running to get to the appointment. The action quickly accelerates. He encounters many obstacles on his way, all the elements are against him. In the end, however, he finds his beloved and gives her flowers. The woman leaves and the boy is sad, thinking that she does not want to be with him. However, his beloved returns and the story ends with a romantic kiss between the lovers. The film moves at a moderate pace.
Pay attention to the music and sound design that I created to emphasize the emotions in the film.
