@@naturevalleycrumbs753 an oval face shape with a small head. the textbook body proportion of a ballerina features long slim legs and a small slender torso. long fingers, long neck. it should give out an elegant vibe. i was a ballerina once and suffered from eating disorders because of these “requirements.” they’re not really requirements anymore at many places so that’s something to be happy about. i hope I answered your question about “bro what features of a ballerina” even though it sounded annoyed. not trynna put words into your mouth since words can be interpreted differently but just expressing my feeling :) I’m not fluent in English so sorry about that

@@wistfulina I have been dancing since I was 6. These beauty standards are heavily pushed and not obtainable. I have seen first hand, people with a "ballet body" go through health challenges like eating disorders and such. anyone can dance and its hard to be limited because of your body.

That was beautifully executed. I know you’re in a dance studio, but it doesn’t look like a dance I would want to dance on, because it looks slippery. If it was Marley or wood I d feel safe but linoleum to tile I’d say a hard pass, because once the weather gets cold it stiffens up and doesn’t give into dance movement.

I think I've danced on that floor, it's some fancy material developed for dance and it's surprising very sticky. They had it at the National Ballet studios when I went and it was a shock after being used to springboard!
