Haha I see some of your other Le Creuset collection up in your cabinet! You appear to be addicted like myself. And like you I also have several of the shiny white Dutch ovens, pans, etc…(I think they finally changed the name from shiny white to just “white” now). I’m a man…a manly married man, but I love to cook and I also share your enthusiasm for Le Creuset haha! I’ve been eye-balling this white Cassadou and I think after watching this video I’m gonna pull the trigger. I was afraid it might not be big enough, but it looks like a pretty good size. I get so excited even when it isn't my box! I love that color! Cast iron is great to cook with and that is a nice size for everything, especially fried chicken

Its nice seeing people get more Le Crueset cookware. My first dutch oven was white. Easiest pot to clean. I had the same giddy face when unboxed my cookware too. Congrats

This is sometimes known as a chicken fryer as well - I have one with a white interior and a black interior - so I use the black interior one for shallow frying and the sand interior for things where browning needs to be monitored, or even vichyssoise to make sure the leeks aren't getting any browning because it will create an awkward in the final soup. I also keep the Vitamix immersion blender for that kind of soup and velouté type soups because it has rubber feet to not scratch the pots. There is also a whisk and a chopper attachment.

You pronounce the name …. Lah Crusay. I know it doesn’t make sense but there are so many rules in French that the send of a word that ends in a “ et” is pronounced “ay”
