5 Hitchcock references that I noticed: 1. Rear Window (1954): man with a broken leg, stuck in his apartment (in a wheelchair) for a summer. With only a pair of binoculars for entertainment, he starts watching his neighbors and starts an amateur investigation after he believes he’s witnessed a murder. 0:12 2. Psycho (1960): famous Bernard Hermann chord repetition/ musical cue for suspense 2:31 (3-4) Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955-1962) and Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1962-1965): theme music, which overlays the famous silhouette/caricature of his profile, at the beginning of each episode 3. (Silhouette of Hitchcock is seen on wall beside dish rack) 4:43 4. Theme: ‘Funeral March for a Marionette’ (1872), composed by Charles Gounod (plays at the very end of credits) 4:52 5. The Birds (1963): Hitchcock made a famous cameo in his film as the main character, played by Tippi Hedren, enters a small San Francisco bird shop to buy a pair of love birds. Although love birds are small green parrots and the song bird in this short film looks more like a canary, I can’t help but think that it’s a nod to Hitchcock: especially because it is this bird’s rusty swing that creates the Psycho chord at 2:38 Also, I’d assume that any birds in an homage to Hitchcock were put there intentionally. A round of applause to the short film creators and a salute to the lasting power of Hitchcock in film 🙌🎬🙀 Did anyone find other Hitchcock references?

OUTSTANDING in SO many ways! The animation is perfect, the music is terrific, especially the Hitchcock surprise at the end and the "Psycho" knife-slashing music! Loved it!

Very bad for kids ? Are you joking ? Or do you mean : toddlers ?
@oliviaredito3437 Жыл бұрын
You should be raising your children to rear, kill, process and eat your chicken, this short is clearly a jokey video as dogs , cats and piegons all eat chicken too.
