OMG... Sortilege original formulation...my mom wore this when i was a kid....... way back in the 50s i would say. It had as i can recall a box w/a lacy embossed greenish/goldish lace edging? on it...this takes me way back. I remember it as being a rich floral formal night out scent. She wore it frequently

Le Galion means the Galleon. Galleons were large, multi-decked sailing ships used from the 16th to 18th centuries. Those were generally warships. Beautiful old type wooden ships with three or more masts And pirates also used those kind of ships that times. For example the wonderful Vasa ship is also a galleon. In my opinion, the most beautiful type of ships. I'm obsessed with old type ships. :D

I didn't know they had brought them back! I have all vintages of Le Galion. The ones that I own are: 222, Snob, Sortilege and Jasmin. to my nose, the vintage Sortilege is a soapy floral chypre; more on the floral side. I love Le Galion and would like to try the modern. I am in Ohio.

Thank you for this video and giveaway! This fragrance means a lot to me it was my very first bottle of fragrance when I turned 19 my father took me fragrance and make up shopping. I am not %100 sure if it was sortilege but it was something galion and I enjoyed it so much. He also got me a scent called chat noir . I cant remember the scent but I remember it was very pleasant and I used it long time my bottle le galion was splash and it was huge. Crossed my fingers 🤗

The bottle is a version of the original package - the lid was black bakelite. This scent is ravishing. Whenever I want to feel like a jazz age heiress, which is all the time, I wear this.

I've read many reviews about Sortilege, mainly because I love aldehydic florals. I didn't have the chance to try it, but would like to. I associate Sortilege with sunny days, a lace dress and yellow pollen. Thanks for the amazing draw. I'm from the EU.

The Turkish rose and Egyptian Jasmine together sound so elegant. The sandlewood and musk would probably settle the flowers from being too flowery. Overall, I'd love to win this aura mystic liguid. U.S.A.

Great review as always. Interesting to hear two different opinions on the same perfume. It's nice to see perfumes with heritage being revived. Great perfumes pass the test of time very well. Wow Sebastian! I’ve gotta have this to smell on my wife, love the fact it has so many of the flowers I love, the Iris you mentioned is super super feminine which I would love on her! Also, the fact you said it’s like a signature scent very unique. These are the reasons I have to have it, plus nobody else or not to many people would have it as well, as you know I’m here in Katy,Tx.
