Opera Wire described it as "the best Marriage of Figaro in the past 5 years" other reviews I've seen seem equally positive. Financial Times (UK) "brutal but brilliant", New York Review " In sum, you will rarely see a Marriage of Figaro better sung, acted, played and conducted than this one." Clearly other opinions are available.
